Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and design data-driven solutions for large-scale applications within the Wealth Management and Billing ecosystem.
- Lead the development of robust data pipelines using technologies such as AWS Glue, Athena, and Snowflake.
- Apply caching strategies and data modeling best practices to optimize system performance and throughput.
- Translate complex business requirements into effective, scalable enterprise data architectures.
- Ensure all solutions align with non-functional requirements (NFRs) including scalability, reliability, availability, maintainability, and performance.
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineering teams to design databases, select technologies, and define integration patterns.
- Evaluate new tools and frameworks, perform technical feasibility studies, and provide strategic architectural guidance.
- Document architectural decisions, data flows, and infrastructure components.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering, solution architecture, or technical leadership roles.
- Strong expertise in AWS data services (Glue, Athena, S3, Lambda, etc.).
- Proven experience with Snowflake and building high-performance, cloud-native data warehouses.
- Solid understanding of caching technologies (e.g., Redis, Memcached) to optimize latency and throughput.
- Experience designing and implementing end-to-end data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
- Strong knowledge of database design, data modeling, and performance tuning.
- Experience in the Wealth Management and/or Billing domain is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of architectural patterns, non-functional requirements, and trade-offs in designing distributed data systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with tools like Apache Spark, Airflow, or similar orchestration frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices in data environments.
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical solutions into business outcomes.
- Architecture certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus
