Data Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Work with large, complex data sets to identify meaningful trends and insights that drive business decisions.
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business, product, operations, and technology) to define data needs and deliver actionable insights.
• Apply statistical techniques and data modeling to evaluate business performance and forecast future outcomes.
• Ensure accuracy, integrity, and security of datasets by implementing proper data governance practices.
• Present clear, concise, and data-backed recommendations to stakeholders and senior management.
• Support automation and optimization of reporting processes to improve efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
• Familiarity with statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
• Experience with Python or R for data manipulation and analysis (preferred).
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to explain complex data in simple terms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with large datasets and relational databases.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Background in business analysis or domain-specific data analytics
