Data Analyst

Job Summary:

The Data Analyst will analyze business processes, identify areas for improvement, and provide actionable insights to drive strategic decisions. Experience in retail will be considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Ø Work with stakeholders to elicit, document, and analyze business requirements.

Ø Perform detailed analysis of business data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

Ø Assess current business processes and propose enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Ø Develop and deliver reports and dashboards to communicate findings and support decision-making.

Ø Assist in managing projects, including planning, execution, and tracking progress.

Ø Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate communication between business units and IT to ensure alignment on project goals and requirements.

Ø Evaluate potential solutions and recommend the best course of action based on analysis and business needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Ø Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications a plus.

Ø Min 5 Yrs of experience in Data analysis [Retail Exp Mandatory]

Ø Strong ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.

Ø Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.

Ø Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Ø Proven track record of solving complex business problems with innovative solutions.

Ø Experience in managing or supporting projects, with a good understanding of project management methodologies.

Additional Skills and Experience:

Ø Experience in the retail industry is highly desirable, with a strong understanding of retail operations and metrics.

Ø Familiarity with retail analytics, customer behavior analysis, and sales forecasting.

Ø Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Ø Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
