Description

This role blends Data Analysis and BI Development. The work spans data discovery, requirements gathering, wire-framing, semantic modeling, KPI definition, and dashboard design/delivery in Power BI.

Key Responsibilities:

· Work across stakeholders to gather requirements and define the reporting strategy

· Perform data mapping, lineage tracking, and develop semantic models

· Define KPIs and identify data sources in collaboration with business teams

· Design and implement star schema models for reporting

· Knowledgeable of the full BI lifecycle

· Build Power BI dashboards and visualizations

Tech Stack:

· Power BI, DAX, SQL,

· Tools for documentation

Ideal Profile:

· Experience across the full BI lifecycle

· Mid-career professional with 6-10 years of experience is around the right sort of level, as it is a challenging project 

· Capable of working with both business and technical teams, and a strong communicator  

· Familiar with dimensional modeling and governance best practices

Bonuses:

  • If someone also has some broader experience with Data Engineering and/or Tableau, that could help them be more deployable in future phases of the project. 
  • But this shouldn't detract from the primary aspects of the role
