Data Analyst

Key Skills: Advanced Excel Macros, Excel, SQL.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support business decision-making.
• Utilize MS Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, INDEX, MATCH, and Pivot Tables for data manipulation and reporting.
• Perform data validation and ensure the accuracy and consistency of data sources.
• Apply foundational SQL knowledge to extract, filter, and join data from relational databases.
• Communicate findings effectively through written and oral presentations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven strategies and project goals.
• Ensure high quality and attention to detail in all deliverables.
• Organize and manage tasks efficiently to meet project deadlines.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to shared objectives.

Experience Requirement:

• 1 to 5 years of relevant professional experience following the completion of academic studies.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, including key functions such as VLOOKUP, INDEX, MATCH, and Pivot Tables.
• Foundational understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset.
• Self-discipline for task planning and organization.
• Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to collaborate.
• Familiarity with data analytics and visualization tools such as Python, Tableau, Power BI, and DASH is an added advantage.
• Exposure to pharmaceutical data sources such as IQVIA and SHS is a plus.
• Understanding of forecasting methodologies including time series analysis, regression analysis, exponential smoothing, and moving averages is desirable.
• Knowledge of statistical techniques such as correlation analysis, multiple regression methods, and sensitivity analysis is beneficial.
