Cybersecurity Principal Consultant

What you’ll achieve As a Cybersecurity Principal Consultant, you will be leading engagements with our customers to evaluate their technical and operational risks in their Cybersecurity programs by developing security strategies, policies, and roadmaps that implement best practices to reduce risk, meet organizational goals and regulatory compliance.


Here’s what we are looking for with this role: 
Essential Requirements 
• 15+ years of professional experience in customer facing IT roles with at least a bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience. 
• Extraordinary communication skills. 
• Finance acumen to comprehend customer budgets more effectively and potentially identify opportunities for upselling. 
• Analytical abilities- It is important that insights and decisions are grounded in data, making data driven insights a crucial aspect of this role. 
• 5+ years of experience performing security risk assessments and security architecture reviews, while providing guidance across all Cybersecurity stakeholders. 
• Must have experience with at least one (1) and be familiar with at least two (2) of the following: PCI DSS, NIST CSF/RMF, CMMC, C2M2, HIPAA, CIS 18. 
• Robust technical knowledge of infrastructure security, design and monitoring including SOC, SIEM, MDR/EDR, EPP, DLP, SOAR. 
• Track record of helping customers meet Cybersecurity compliance requirements to regulations, frameworks, and standards. 
• Experience with modern security solutions such as AI/ML Security Analytics, Zero Trust, Threat modelling, Penetration Testing and Vulnerability Management. 

Desirable Requirements -
• Professional Cybersecurity Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CIA, CRISC, CEH, TOGAF, SABSA. 
• Passion for being a true “consultant”, driving change and digital transformation.
