Cybersecurity Principal Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Agile Delivery Lead with a strong background in Cyber Security, API Development, and Financial Fraud/Identity Access Management. This hybrid contract position is based in Charlotte, NC, and offers the opportunity to work with a leading financial institution on high-impact security initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex cyber security and API-related initiatives using Agile methodologies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, goals, and deliverables.
• Manage project schedules, risks, and budgets, ensuring successful and timely delivery.
• Provide technical leadership in secure API development and architecture.
• Oversee implementation of identity access management and fraud prevention systems.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies and ensure adherence to agile principles across teams.
• Communicate progress, risks, and solutions to technical and business stakeholders.
• Stay current with trends and best practices in cyber security and financial fraud mitigation.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–15 years of experience in Agile project leadership roles, preferably within cyber security or financial services.
• Strong background in backend/API development and security protocols.
• Expertise with JIRA, Confluence, and other Agile tools.
• Proven ability to lead matrixed teams across multiple high-stakes projects.
• Experience implementing or supporting identity access management systems.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and a proactive, self-starter attitude.
• Ability to challenge ideas constructively and lead teams with empathy and clarity.
