Cybersecurity Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deploy security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, EDR, cloud security).
• Drive vulnerability management, security assessments, and remediation.
• Monitor threats, detect incidents, and support forensic investigations.
• Automate security operations using scripting and tooling.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support audits.
• Deliver clear reporting on risks, metrics, and incidents.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity engineering or security operations.
   
• Strong knowledge of firewalls, SIEM, endpoint protection, and cloud security (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Experience with scripting/automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Solid understanding of network protocols, Windows/Linux, and cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with frameworks like NIST CSF or ISO27001.
• Relevant certifications (Azure Security Engineer, Cybersecurity Architect, GIAC GSE) are a plus
