CX Engineer

Job Description:

This role involves designing, implementing, and troubleshooting network infrastructure, often requiring strong technical skills, customer interaction, and experience in Switching and Routing.

Responsibilities:

· Network Design & Implementation : Deploy and configure Aruba core switches (e.g., Aruba 6400/6300) for campus/data center environments.

· Implement VLAN routing, trunk links, LACP/MCLAG, and ensure compatibility with existing network infrastructure.

· Network Security & Compliance : Ensure compliance with security standards and implement zero-trust security principles.

· Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting : Monitor network performance, conduct capacity planning, and optimize for high performance.

· Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide root-cause analysis.

· Integration & Collaboration : Integrate Aruba solutions with other technologies like SD-WAN and Zscaler for secure connectivity.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless network operations.

· Documentation & Reporting : Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of network architectures, configurations, and operational procedures.

· Provide regular reports on network performance, security, and compliance.

Education and Experience Required:

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

· Aruba Certified Switching Professional (ACSP) or equivalent certification preferred.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, with preferably a focus on Aruba technologies.

Knowledge and Skills:

· Well-tuned background in CX-Switching

· Wireless experience: Site surveys, wireless design,

· Technical understanding and knowledge of the relevant industry

· Basic business acumen and knowledge of root cause analysis and problem detection.

· Effective communication skills, attention to detail, ownership, change management skills, team player and collaborates with product and support teams.

· Experience working in a fast-paced multi-vendor environment involving quick turnaround time.

· Must have prior consulting experience.

· Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF,EVPN/VXLAN, STP).

· Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices and solutions.

· Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with network analysis tools.

· Ability to automate network management tasks using scripting tools like Python.
