CW Systems Engineer

• Come join client’s PSC (Platform and Compliance Team) team as Systems Engineer.
• This team is responsible for providing creation and support for Client AMI’s/Container images through automations.
• The ideal candidate is passionate about cloud technology, In-depth Linux knowledge, AWS, Kubernetes and containers
• As a member of this team, you will bring your industry expertise to help the team navigate through challenges and collaborate with the functional team to develop and bring their best to the work they do every day.

Essential Job Functions:

• Provide technical support 12x7 to end-users and resolve technical issues in a timely and effective manner through slack and Jira
• Build and maintain GCP Machine images/Client AMI’s/Container Images using certain custom tools developed & maintained by Client.
• You will be expected to quickly identify and troubleshoot any issues that arise
• Effective collaboration with stakeholders and the ability to manage their expectations
• You will be responsible for developing and maintaining technical documentation.

Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with GCP & AWS cloud technology, Containers (Docker / Kubernetes / Podman)
• Must have 5+ years industry experience in a similar role should have a robust background in Linux/Windows administration and troubleshooting.
• Must have knowledge on Golang - Intermediate
• Must have experience automating software builds and deployments using Jenkins, CloudFormation and other similar technologies
• Must have experience with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban and be proficient in using Jira or similar tools.
• A passion for continuously improving processes through automation is essential
• Possesses strong verbal and written communications skills
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
