Job Description:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Public Sector Solutions Developer to design, develop, configure, and integrate hosting technology solutions based on client specifications, standards, and best practices.
  • The role involves working across Salesforce, Mulesoft, and other integrated services to meet business requirements, project deliverables, and ensure robust, scalable, and compliant solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake the design of hosting technology solutions to meet client Salesforce Public Sector Solutions CRM application business requirements.
  • Develop end-to-end features across Salesforce, Mulesoft, and other services.
  • Resolve and troubleshoot technical problems during implementation, conversion, and migration.
  • Develop complex Salesforce Sales Cloud features, breaking down work into components and milestones.
  • Write concise, well-crafted code and tests.
  • Provide detailed estimates and work breakdown structures for assigned tasks.
  • Collaborate with IT professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Conduct design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation of applications.
  • Implement deployment and troubleshooting strategies.
  • Work with relational and hierarchical database technologies.
  • Conduct fit-gap analysis between high-level requirements and Salesforce Public Sector capabilities.
  • Ensure AODA-compliant solutions.
  • Build integrations between Salesforce and external applications using REST, SOAP APIs, authentication, and Single Sign-On.
  • Migrate changes using CI technologies such as Salesforce DX, Jenkins, and ANT.
  • Conduct design walkthrough sessions with the project team.
  • Provide user and system documentation as required.
  • Ensure effective knowledge transfer to client teams, including documentation in designated repositories.

Requirement/Must Have:

  • 5+ years of Salesforce development experience in Public Sector Foundation and Sales Cloud.
  • Solid understanding of configuration versus custom code approaches.
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or equivalent experience.
  • Salesforce Certified OmniStudio Developer.
  • Salesforce Certified Experience Cloud Consultant.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce Public Sector Solutions CRM applications, operating systems, database technologies, and programming languages.
  • Proficiency in Apex, Lightning, VisualForce, Salesforce APIs, SOQL, SOSL, and web services.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce security model, including sharing rules, roles, and profiles.
  • Experience with deployment tools such as GitLab and Jenkins.
  • Ability to produce and maintain technical documentation.
  • Experience working with stakeholders to document requirements and designs.

Qualification And Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Professional Salesforce certifications as listed in requirements
