Controls Engineer

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automation systems for plant operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with PLC programming (primarily Allen Bradley), process control systems, and troubleshooting. You will collaborate with various teams to optimize plant efficiency, ensure safe operations, and manage control system projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop process control systems (PLC, HMI, sensors, drives).
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues using PLCs, drives, and industrial networks.
• Work with MES and WonderWare Historian to monitor and improve plant processes.
• Prepare and maintain standard operating procedures, data sheets, and diagrams.
• Manage projects and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Provide on-call support one week every 5-6 weeks.

Qualifications:

• 4-year technical degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in control systems design and commissioning.
• Strong PLC programming skills (Allen Bradley, CTI, Siemens).
• Project management experience, manufacturing background preferred.
