Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
• Automate batch workflows using Control-M Automation API and JSON scripting for scalable and maintainable job definitions.
• Design and implement automated job scheduling, triggering mechanisms, and advanced dependency logic.
• Build scripts to enable dynamic job creation, parameterization, and deployment automation.
• Configure alerts, notifications, and escalation workflows for proactive monitoring and SLA management.
• Develop SQL scripts to support job automation logic, validations, and conditional execution within Control-M jobs.
• Integrate Control-M with databases and other systems to automate data extraction, transformation, and loading tasks.
• Automate job monitoring processes, including failure recovery, status reporting, and health checks.
• Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to integrate Control-M workflows into CI/CD pipelines and version control.
Skills & Development Experience:
• Strong hands-on expertise in Control-M tool, including scheduling, configurations, job monitoring, and administration.
• Proficient in Control-M Automation API and JSON scripting for job automation and deployment.
• Skilled in SQL scripting for database automation, parameterized queries, and data validation within batch jobs.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of job triggering mechanisms based on file events, time, or custom conditions.
• Familiarity with Control-M features such as calendars, conditions, resources, and SMART folders.
• Experience integrating Control-M with databases, cloud platforms, and external services.
• Understanding of Agile and DevOps practices for automated Control-M pipeline deployments.
