Cognos Power BI Report Administrator

Minimum skillsets required:
·        8+ years Cognos Framework Manager experience. 
·        8+ years Cognos report creation experience. 
·        8+ years Cognos Administration experience. 
·        8+ years knowledge of stored procedures, functions and operators within Cognos models. 
·        8+ years knowledge of SQL based query subjects within Cognos. 
·        5+ years’ experience creating Cognos dashboard reports. 
·        2+ years Power BI Admin experience.
·        2+ years Power BI Reporting Development experience.
·        5+ years of key transportation industry knowledge.
·        Prefer experience with Crystal and will receive additional consideration. 

Objectives:
·        Monitor Cognos and Power BI environment to ensure that it is always operating efficiently and in a secure manner.
·        Identify and fix all problems that arise in the daily operation of Cognos and Power BI reporting.
·        Provide recommendations for future software and hardware upgrades.
·        Answer operational questions from the Central Office and District staff.
·        Create and maintain reporting models packages, and workspaces.
·        Create requested reports and queries.
·        Maintain current reports and queries.
·        Must document work, processes, and procedures.
·        Provide skills and knowledge transfer to client employees.
·        Provide outstanding customer service to both internal and external partners.
