Cognos Developer Analyst

Role Description

This is a full-time W2 or 1099 on-site Hybrid new jersey ,NYC locals only .role for a Cognos Developer Analyst at Radus Tek Services in New Jersey, United States. The Cognos Developer Analyst will be responsible for tasks related to dashboard development, data analysis, ETL processes, data modeling, and creating Crystal Reports.

Qualifications

Cognos Developer / Analyst

*financial accounting knowledge is a must

*general ledger experience is preferred

Required someone who is strong with testing, validation, development relational databases is a must.

Oracle Shop on the finance side- ideally need that as it is an Oracle GL move/shift to the cloud but the Oracle GL is a plus

VISA -GC ,USC

financial accounting experience needed- need to understand the business

Cognos BI /Heavy Databases

Data and Business Analysis:

● Apply data analysis skills for insights.

● Map business processes and requirements.

Agile Collaboration:

● Work within agile teams and contribute to all assigned SDLC life cycle roles.

User Stories and Deployment:

● Create user stories, and address deployment needs.

● Analyze and extract insights from data.

Relationship Management:

● Act as a business intelligence and reporting relationship manager.

● Collaborate with business and technical teams.

Data Platform Implementation:

● Support data platform implementation.

● Build analytical user entry screen-based systems.

Document Management and Entry:

● Use SharePoint and Microsoft tools for document management.

● Ensure accurate data entry.

Data Pipeline Development:

● Build and maintain data pipelines.

● Implement custom reports and BI analytics.

Tool Proficiency:

● Highly Proficient in Cognos Analytics Application(s) end to end tool stack along with databases, SQL, Excel, PowerPoint and other supporting data tools

Team Collaboration:

● Collaborate with wider team, and provide data-backed recommendations

Adaptability and Detail Orientation:

● Adapt to changing project requirements.

Status Reporting:

● Regularly report project status.
