Description

Responsibilities

  • Identify, analyze and resolve the most cloud, and on-premise based issues.
  • Manage multiple initiatives independently.
  • Ensure consistent provisioning, uptime, regulatory compliance and data protection including both on-premise and Azure.
  • Manage and provide current usage statistics and providing future projected growth estimates.
  • Support application owners, hosting platforms and other IT groups in troubleshooting and resolving issues.

Required Skills

  • Self-driven and ability to identify tasks/activities required to keep the environment healthy.
  • Must be expert in Active Directory along with PowerShell, Scripting and Terraform and AWS.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Systems Configuration Manager, Orchestrator, PKI and Powershell.
  • Understanding of performance and capacity management and reporting.
  • Current knowledge of evolution of tools to drive continuous integration, continuous delivery, release automation.
  • Ability to manage workload within multiple projects, delivering results within agreed deadlines.
  • Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of designing and implementing high availability Windows based infrastructure on physical and Vmware platforms.
  • 3+ years of experience with AWS technologies (EC2, VPC, RDS, Redshift, EKS, ECS, Fargate, S3, IAM, Cloud Formation, Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, Lambda, Elastic Search, SNS, SQS, Redshift, Sage Maker and Workspaces).
  • Experience with Terraform, strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Amazon cloud services and managing AWS instances using infrastructure as code.
  • Experience with automated tools for monitoring AWS – such as AWS tools and Splunk.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
