Description

  • Responding to Data Platform/Cloud environment issues (cloud problem and incident management, e.g., portal access, security, etc.)
  • Assisting with user access issues and modifying access requests.
  • Using tools to ensure peak performance of deployed cloud environments.
  • Using tools to ensure adherence to security best practices including MFA, key management, etc.
  • Implementing tasks under the guidance of Cloud architects.
  • Responding to cloud monitoring alerts.
  • Assisting users with any Data Platform troubleshooting issues.
  • Ensuring ongoing configuration management health.
  • Creating and maintaining Runbook and other support documentation.
  • Adhering to ITIL processes (change, problem, configure, incident management).
  • Conducting onboarding sessions for new Data Platform use cases to familiarize them with the various components.

     


Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology.
  • Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) Cloud-based hands-on experience with key AWS services (IAM, VPC, S3, CloudFormation, CloudWatch…).
  • Strong working experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts, especially AWS CloudFormation.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of the software development lifecycle utilizing the DevOps framework around CI/CD.
  • Understanding of data lifecycle end-to-end (from data ingestion to consumption).
  • Familiarity with data catalogs or governance is a plus.
  • Experience supporting production Cloud workloads using native and 3rd party tools.
  • Good interpersonal skills, especially with a diverse and global user base.
  • Good knowledge of CI/CD tools, processes, and procedures (e.g., Jenkins).
  • Good knowledge of code and binary repositories (e.g., GitHub or BitBucket).
  • Hands-on experience in scripting skills like Python or Bash
  • Strong command of the English language (both verbal and written)
