Cloud Solution Architect

Job Description:

Requirement/Must Have:

• 5+ years of experience in Enterprise Cloud Architecture using Microsoft Azure Cloud services.
• 5+ years of Enterprise Azure Cloud experience.
• Experience in outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for a business.
• Strong design and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience:
• Leadership in the development and implementation of technical architectures.
• Extensive experience with at least three different platforms, operating systems, environments, database technologies, and communication protocols.
• Experience with middleware, gateways, and performance considerations in various environments.
• Strong background in structured methodologies for design, development, and implementation.
• Systems analysis and design in large-scale environments.
• ITIL process design and guidance experience.
• Experience translating business requirements into reporting needs.
• Creation of conceptual, logical, and/or physical process and data models.
• Technical architecture development and management experience.
• Familiarity with CASE tools, project management tools, and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Create technical specifications for system development.
• Design, implement, and document solutions in alignment with organizational standards.
• Ensure business architecture aligns with logical and physical solution architectures.
• Prepare required documents such as PIA, TRA, and PEN TEST reports.
• Support creation and review of Enterprise Architecture artifacts.
• Develop and modify system and user interface designs.
• Review test scenarios, establish traceability matrices, and ensure requirement coverage.
• Support testing teams during system and UAT testing.
• Undertake special assignments and sub-projects.
• Create and validate business scenarios and use cases.
• Produce visual process flows and ensure alignment with program needs.
• Participate in knowledge transfer activities.

Should Have:

• Experience with enterprise architecture deliverables based on established processes and practices.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Content Management systems (OpenText ECM).
• Understanding of Information Management principles, policies, and practices.
• Familiarity with Architecture Review Board processes and documentation.
• Experience in business modeling and enterprise architecture modeling.

Qualification and Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
