Cloud Scripting Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot on-premise and cloud infrastructure.
• Manage systems across VMware, Openstack, AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Perform routine system patching and address security vulnerabilities.
• Execute data center and cloud migration projects.
• Resolve Linux and configuration-related issues.
• Maintain and deploy AWS AMIs, updating golden images as required.
• Conduct performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts, focusing on infrastructure as code.
• Manage core services such as DNS, LDAP, NTP, and SMTP.
• Create and maintain documentation for server configurations and procedures.
• Collaborate with vendors to resolve issues.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Expertise in Linux administration, including file systems and security.
• Minimum 8 years of experience with VMware products (vCenter, vSphere).
• Proficiency in shell scripting; additional languages like Python, Perl, or PowerShell are a plus.
• Proficiency with Openstack.
• Strong skills with DevOps tools: Git, Ansible, Puppet, Jenkins.
• Knowledge of infrastructure services and network protocols.
• Ability to work independently, troubleshoot effectively, and manage multiple projects.
