Description


  • As a key member of the solution architecture team, ensure success in building and migrating applications, software and services on the AWS platform
     
  • Partner with the sales team, formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of AWS
     
  • Educate customers of all sizes on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud
     
  • Planning and preparation of business proposals, RFP/RFI/RFQ responses end-to-end.
     
  • Conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using AWS
     
  • Capture and share best-practice knowledge within the AWS solutions architect community
     
  • Author or otherwise contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as white papers
     
  • Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable them to be cloud advocates
     
  • Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams and support
     
  • Work alongside with strategic account sales representatives in closing business by providing business and technology expertise during the sales cycle for cloud-based AWS applications.
     
  • Responsible for discovery calls, solution architecture definition, and delivery of solution-based demonstrations to enterprise clients. Provide direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/ application to client business.
     
  • Meeting with clients to discuss their solution needs.
     
  • Present and articulate advanced AWS features and benefits, product future direction and overall solutions.
     
  • The support sales team in online/in-person selling efforts with minimal supervision.
     
  • Strategizing with the sales team to create customized solutions.
     
  • Drafting and delivering presentations on targeted technologies.

     


 

Requirements

  • Deep hands-on experience leading the design, implementation or consulting experience with AWS cloud application.
     
  • Hands on experience in presales and working with enterprise customers
     
  • Subject matter level expertise on AWS Network & Security, AWS Compute (EC2) & Storage, Backup & DR, Monitoring, AWS Governance & Cost Management, migration, DevOps.
     
  • Rich experience in Migration projects and good knowledge of migration tools (native and third party) like CloudEndure, MGN
     
  • Infrastructure automation through DevOps scripting (E.g., Terraform, Cloud Formation etc)
     
  • Configuration management using Ansible and/or Chef/Puppet, Shell, PowerShell.
     
  • Implementing experience with primary AWS services (EC2, ELB, ECS, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, Route53 & S3)
     
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
     

Preferred Qualifications
 

  • One or more cloud certifications, preferably in AWS.
     
  • Experience designing/developing solutions built on Cloud
     
  • Demonstrated thought leadership through publications and public speaking.
