Cloud-Native Security Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Cloud-Native Security Engineer based in Denver, CO, to design, implement, and maintain security solutions for cloud-native applications and infrastructure. You will collaborate with DevOps, development, and security teams to ensure secure deployment and operation within cloud environments.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and enforce security best practices for cloud-native applications and microservices
• Implement security controls in CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (IaC)
• Monitor and respond to security incidents in cloud environments
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on cloud platforms
• Collaborate to integrate security into DevOps processes (DevSecOps)
• Manage identity and access controls using cloud-native tools
• Automate security policies and compliance checks
Skills & Technologies:
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP security services
• Container security: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates
• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions
• Security tools: vulnerability scanners, SIEM, IDS/IPS, secret management (HashiCorp Vault, AWS KMS)
