Cloud Java/MS Engineer

• 6+ years of experience in cloud engineering with strong Java, SpringBoot and Micro-services development expertise.

• Hands-on experience in designing, building, and deploying microservices architecture for cloud platforms.

• Strong understanding of micro-services architecture, various micro-services design patterns and should have designed and developed micro-services at enterprise scale.

• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP preferred) and cloud-native microservices.

• Expertise in Kubernetes (GKE) for designing and deploying micro-services.

• Experience in enabling cloud services with guardrails and controls required for production within financial services.

• Deep understanding of microservices construction, including API development, orchestration, and deployment.

• Familiarity with DevOps tools for CI/CD and monitoring microservices in cloud environments.

• Review current micro-services ecosystem and architecture and recommend best practices on design patterns as well as optimization opportunities. 

• Design and develop cloud-based microservices, ensuring they adhere to infrastructure security and platform requirements.

• Collaborate with infrastructure and platform teams to integrate microservices with secure gateways and guardrails.

• Automate microservices deployment and scaling processes using cloud-native tools.

• Contribute to enabling secure cloud services with the necessary controls for compliance.

• Provide technical guidance on the best practices for microservices construction in cloud environments.

• Work closely with stakeholders to understand platform requirements and deliver robust, scalable solutions
