Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

The Azure Infrastructure as Code Engineer will be instrumental in building infrastructure deployment in Azure environment.   This assignment requires the candidate to have experience supporting large scale application migrations from on-prem data center(s) into Azure public cloud.
Skills:

• 4-6 years hands-on experience with SQL Server Managed Instance, Azure SQL, App service, Front Door, AKS, API Gateway, Azure Blob Storage, and Azure VM
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Powershell and Ansible.
• Familiar with networking.
• Strong understanding of cloud security practices, Azure Well-Architecture Framework.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

 
Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

• Extensive hands-on experience with Azure cloud platform

Preferred Qualifications:

• Azure role-based certifications in cloud platforms (e.g. Azure Developer Associate, Azure Administrator or Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desired.
• Experience with SQL Server installation on an Azure VM.
• Experience in building secured API and UI applications with Azure cloud native technologies
