Cloud Infra Engineer

• 4+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and platform engineering, preferably within financial services.

• Expert-level hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code, in the context of platform security and enabling cloud services. Proficient with the entire life cycle of Terraform development – develop, build, package, unit test, deploy via CI/CD etc.

• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP preferred) with solid understanding of cloud services, networking concepts, including VPC design, hybrid connectivity, service mesh, and network security in GCP.

• Experience in implementing guardrails, controls, and policy-as-code frameworks such as Sentinel to ensure secure cloud environments.

• Proficient in scripting languages like Python for automation and tool development.

• Building tooling and automation for Google cloud foundation that includes building landing zone, self-service capabilities, controls and guardrails for GCP Compute and Storage services. 

• Develop and manage infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform for platform security and cloud service enablement.

• Design and implement guardrails and controls for secure cloud operations, ensuring compliance with financial service regulations.

• Automate and optimize infrastructure deployment using Python or other scripting languages.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and enhance compute and storage services in the cloud.

• Work on improving the scalability, reliability, and security of the cloud infrastructure.

• Ensure alignment with best practices for cloud security and compliance across all services
