Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in Java Microservices and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role will focus on developing, deploying, and optimizing cloud-native applications, as well as migrating systems from on-premises infrastructure to the cloud.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for automation, cloud architecture, and modern DevOps practices, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.


 

Must-Have Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience in Java Microservices (Spring Boot)
  • Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Experience with Cloud Run and other GCP services
  • Proficient in container orchestration with Kubernetes
  • Working knowledge of Kafka for real-time data streaming
  • Experience with OpenShift
  • Strong understanding of application and infrastructure security
  • Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills


 

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with other cloud providers (AWS, Azure)
  • Knowledge of SFTP and file transfer automation
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Helm, etc.)
  • Experience working in BFSI or regulated environments


 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years in cloud environments, infrastructure, and application security
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to adapt quickly to new technologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
