Job Roles & Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibility of work will be in Azure Cloud with a focus on identity and access management aspects of security.
- Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure related functions including platforms such as Intune and Azure AD.
- Plan and design cloud security policies to ensure compliance of company policies for servers and user end-point devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the function of the cloud operating environment – especially with regard to password/identity/access management systems.
- Work with stakeholders and other technical teams to collect business and technical requirements and design / deliver enterprise level solutions.
- Create and update technical documentation of operating procedures as needed.
- Maintain standards for installation of infrastructure software / hardware installations.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure/Office 365 including but not limited to Azure AD Azure/Office 365 user access provisioning, tenant federation, and maintaining optimal security practices, procedures and configurations.
- Support IT goals and objectives including measures and projects.
- Provide problem solving leadership based on experience with the technology.
- As a member of the Directory Services and Cloud Identity Team, help to provide timely and efficient support to assigned operations across all of the team's managed platforms, coordinate day-to-day operations, apply security updates and configurations as necessary, create and implement tenant wide security policies such as conditional access polices.
- Collaborate in assessing current and expected Windows infrastructure needs, configuration, maintenance, optimization and documentation of Windows infrastructure.
- Follow and apply configuration and security standards and policies within a defined Change Management process.
- Assist with implementing solutions for hardware and software. Implement common preventive maintenance practices for hardware and software.
- Ensure that system improvements and changes are implemented correctly and completely and monitor all effects of the modifications.
- Perform common administrative tasks as needed.
- Must possess proven experience working with a large enterprise distributed computing environment and the Azure cloud platform.
- Foundational understanding of Directory Services Infrastructure architect/design/support
- Strong understanding of Azure cloud platforms including Azure AD, PIM, Identity Governance, Conditional Access, Intune.
- Provides state-of-the-art technical expertise and support to client and IT management and staff in risk assessment.
- Offers leadership during incident and problem-solving investigations; participates in 24x7 production system security issue and event handling.
- Maintains contact with industry security standard setting groups and an awareness of State/Federal legislation and regulation pertaining to information security.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or a directly related field preferred.
- 6-8 years of professional IT experience.
- Experience in security aspects of multiple cloud platforms, operating systems, software, communications, and network protocols.
- Requires excellent analytical ability, consultative and communication skills, and strong judgement.
