Description
Youwill be working with our more established contractors and staff to focus onseveral web and Windows applications used both by internal ELECT staff andconstituents of the Commonwealth of Virginia. The candidate will need expertise as a programmer anddesigner for Cloud Services. Experience implementing anddeveloping applications to interface with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)and other offerings from the major Cloud Service Providers required. Responsible for analysis, design, and coding for a new application. Will be involved in maintenance, enhancement and developmentwork. The candidate will need a range of skills and knowledge of the technologiesused and applications supported by the Application Team. Workswith the Business Analyst, Application Architect and other ApplicationDevelopment Team members on an as-needed basis to ensure that design and codemeets customer requirements. May also need to work with SaaS and Cloud serviceproviders.
Candidate will need to be comfortable working with C#, .NETFramework & Core, MVC & WebForms, Web Services; SQL, Git SCM, andJavascript. Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, and Application security willhelp you stand out in this position. ELECTuses mobile and responsive design practices, so a familiarity with thesemethodologies would be a plus
