Cloud DBA

- Must have at least 5 years of DBA experience and 5+ years working on AWS.
- Work in collaboration with the SMP Lead DBA on database design and optimization.
- Primary focus should be on Postgres, Redshift, and Dynamo DB with Oracle as a plus.
- Responsible for enterprise system database architecture.
- Build and monitor AWS Database Migration Service (DMS).
- Must be proficient in SQL.
- Experience with backup and recovery, and environment refresh.
- Diagnose and resolve database-related problems promptly to minimize downtime.
- Create, maintain and administer AWS cloud databases in a highly available environment.
- Must take proactive ownership of work through full development lifecycle.
- Should be able to accurately estimate work requirements.
- Must be highly focused on committed delivery dates of work.
- The job location is in Nashville and candidates must reside in Nashville for consideration.
- The hourly rate is $55-60.
- Visa status must be eligible to work; if sponsored, it must be by the applicant and already in place
