Description

  • Design and implement scalable, highly available infrastructure in public cloud environments (primarily Azure).
  • Automate provisioning and configuration using infrastructure-as-code tools to deliver stable, repeatable environments.
  • Guide new workloads built in Azure or migrations to Azure, working to minimize business disruptions.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and work closely with networking teams to resolve them.
  • Stay on top of evolving Azure features and broader cloud technologies to keep the team ahead of the curve.
  • Enhance platform performance and resource usage through proactive monitoring and tuning.
  • Ensure all environments meet security best practices and compliance standards (GDPR, PCI-DSS, etc.), including regular assessments and remediation.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, and infrastructure teams to deliver solutions.
  • Create and maintain clear technical documentation.

 

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
  • Strong background with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Terragrunt, Terratest).
  • At least 4 years in cloud engineering or operations, ideally focused on Azure.
  • Experience with core Azure services like: Firewalls, Front Door, App Gateways, VMs, VMSS, AKS, Service Bus, Storage, Cosmos, SQL, App Service, Functions, EntraID.
  • Solid scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
  • Proven experience managing and optimizing containerized platforms.
  • Good grasp of cloud networking principles and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with different database systems (Cosmos, SQL, Redis).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to varied audiences.
  • Comfortable working both independently and within a team
