Roles & Responsibility

 

  • Provide day to day Citrix NetScaler technology directions, support and application guidance for proper load balancing.
  • Install, Configure and Manage Citrix NetScaler.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues related to NetScaler.
  • Handle incidents on case-by-case basis.
  • Find out RCA of major issues.
  • Responsible for upgrading firmware of NetScaler devices as per Citrix recommendation.
  • Create NetScaler resource utilization report and share/discuss with team and management.
  • Implement best practices.
  • Create/Amend/Edit/Delete Custom Configuration related to virtual server, certificate, Policy settings, etc.
  • Handle incident cases based on ITIL process.

Required Skill Set and Experience

 

Minimum 8 yrs. of relevant experience in Citrix NetScaler is mandatory.

Must have:

1. Expertise in troubleshooting NetScaler HA, GSLB, Content switching, access gateway, SSL VPN, related issues.

2. Knowledge of networking and switching.

3. Experience in app - load balancing, stylebooks, configuration jobs.

4. Knowledge of Installing NetScaler, upgrading firmware, configuring HA, GSLB, access gateway, etc.

5. Experience in multi-factor authentication solution.

6. Fluent in developing technical relationships with end-users, OEMs and other teams.

Experience in Virtual App/ XenDesktop 7.XX versions is desirable.

Good oral/written communication skills.

Active Directory / Group Policy / DNS/ DHCP.
