- Review, redesign, and implement Cisco wireless solutions.
- Deep understanding of Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLCs), Access Points (APs), and associated technologies.
- Proficiency in IEEE 802.11 standards, Wi-Fi Alliance certifications.
- Ability to design, plan, and implement complex wireless networks.
- Expertise in diagnosing and resolving wireless network issues, optimizing performance, and ensuring high availability.
- Knowledge of wireless security best practices and guest access.
- Familiarity with network automation tools and orchestration platforms.
- Ability to create and maintain documentation of network configurations and processes.
- Cisco Certifications: CCNP Wireless or higher is preferred.
- Wireless Certifications: CWNP certifications are advantageous.
- Knowledge of Network Protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, RADIUS.
- Proficiency in Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
- Good problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and adaptability skills.
- Conduct RF surveys, analyze propagation models, and optimize AP placement.
- Implement and troubleshoot mobility features.
- Coordinate with wireless vendors for hardware procurement, support, and maintenance.
