Description

Description:

  • Lead the design and development of robust network architectures using Cisco ACI to optimize data center performance, scalability, and security.
  • Architect and implement application-centric solutions that support diverse workloads and business-critical applications.
  • Oversee the deployment and configuration of Cisco ACI components, including the Application Policy Infrastructure Controller (APIC), leaf and spine switches, and endpoint groups (EPGs).
  • Ensure successful integration and configuration of Cisco ACI in hybrid cloud environments.
  • Develop, implement, and manage ACI network policies to automate traffic flows, improve operational efficiency, and streamline network management.
  • Leverage network automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python) to automate deployment processes, system configurations, and monitoring tasks.
  • Work closely with teams to integrate ACI with existing data center technologies, such as virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware vSphere, Kubernetes), compute, storage, and security solutions.
  • Enable seamless interoperability between Cisco ACI and traditional network infrastructure.
  • Continuously monitor the health and performance of the ACI fabric to ensure operational stability, optimize traffic flow, and mitigate potential issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues within the ACI environment to minimize downtime and ensure service availability.
  • Maintain clear, comprehensive, and up-to-date documentation on ACI architecture, configuration, and operational procedures.
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to internal IT teams, ensuring they are equipped to manage and support the ACI environment.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that network designs meet business requirements, security standards, and industry best practices.
  • Communicate technical solutions and progress to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with Cisco ACI fabric components, including APIC controllers, leaf and spine topology, endpoint groups (EPGs), and application network profiles.
  • Strong hands-on experience deploying and managing Cisco ACI in production environments.
  • Experience with network automation using scripting languages such as Python, Ansible, or similar tools.
  • In-depth understanding of networking protocols such as VXLAN, BGP, OSPF, and core IP networking concepts.
  • Solid understanding of network design principles, including high availability, redundancy, and failover mechanisms.
  • Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, including compute, storage, and virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with integrating Cisco ACI with cloud platforms and other data center technologies (e.g., SDN, NFV).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to create clear, comprehensive documentation for network design, deployment, and operational processes.
  • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) in Data Center or equivalent certification.
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Data Center.
  • Cisco ACI specific certifications (e.g., Cisco Certified Specialist – ACI).
