Description

Job Summary: We are looking for a seasoned and hands-on Solution Architect with extensive experience in the Customer Communications Management (CCM) domain. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Documaker, RR Donnelley (now RRD) solutions, and RICOH output management platforms. A critical aspect of this role involves leading and executing successful migrations between these and other CCM products, demonstrating a strong understanding of data conversion, template redesign, output re-engineering, and integration strategies. The Solution Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing complex CCM architectures, ensuring scalability, performance, and adherence to best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architectural Leadership: Design, develop, and evolve robust and scalable CCM solutions leveraging Documaker, RR Donnelley, and RICOH technologies. This includes defining technical roadmaps, architecture blueprints, and design patterns.
  • Migration Expertise: Lead and execute multiple product-to-product migrations within the CCM landscape (e.g., Documaker to another CCM platform, or migrating output from RR Donnelley systems to RICOH). This includes:
  • Assessing current-state architectures and identifying migration complexities.
  • Developing comprehensive migration strategies, including data mapping, template conversion, document redesign, and output re-engineering.
  • Overseeing and hands-on participation in the migration execution, ensuring data integrity and business continuity.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving migration-related challenges.
  • Technical Consulting & SME: Act as a subject matter expert for Documaker, RR Donnelley, and RICOH platforms, providing technical guidance, best practices, and problem-solving support to development teams, project managers, and business stakeholders.
  • Solution Design & Development: Translate business requirements into technical specifications and architectural designs. Oversee the development and implementation of CCM solutions, ensuring they meet functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Performance & Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in CCM applications and infrastructure. Recommend and implement optimization strategies for document generation, composition, and delivery.
  • Integration & APIs: Define and design integration strategies between CCM platforms and other enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, core policy systems) using various integration patterns and APIs.
  • Quality Assurance & Testing: Collaborate with QA teams to define testing strategies for CCM solutions, including performance, regression, and user acceptance testing.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, design specifications, and migration playbooks.
  • Mentorship & Collaboration: Mentor junior architects and developers. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, developers, and operations.
  • Industry Trends: Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in the CCM space.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in solution architecture, with at least 5+ years specifically in the Customer Communications Management (CCM) domain.
  • Mandatory hands-on experience with Documaker (e.g., Documaker Studio, Documaker Server, Documaker Forms, Documaker Interactive).
  • Strong experience with RR Donnelley (RRD) solutions for document composition and output management (e.g., past experience with technologies like ADOBE Central, Exstream, or other RRD proprietary systems used for document creation and delivery).
  • Demonstrable experience with RICOH output management platforms (e.g., ProcessDirector, InfoPrint Manager, or other RICOH solutions for print and digital output).
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and executing multiple migrations between different CCM products/platforms. Please highlight specific examples in your resume.
  • Deep understanding of document composition principles, data transformation, template design, and dynamic content generation.
  • Experience with various output formats (e.g., PDF, AFP, PostScript, HTML5, XML).
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing integrations using APIs (REST, SOAP), message queues, and other integration patterns.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a highly collaborative team.

Desired Skills (Plus Points):

  • Experience with other CCM platforms (e.g., Quadient Inspire, OpenText Exstream, Thunderhead ONE, SmartComms).
  • Knowledge of cloud-based CCM solutions and deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools for CCM solutions.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements related to customer communications (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, PCI DSS).
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
