Having a deep knowledge of the Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6), including its technical details like its 128-bit address structure, how it addresses the issue of IPv4 address depletion, its header format, routing mechanisms, auto-configuration capabilities, and the key benefits it offers over IPv4, such as a vastly expanded address space, improved security features, and efficient network management for a growing number of connected devices.
Basic requirements:
Software development experience (Minimum of 3 years)
Understanding of TCP/IP layer 3 networking protocols including: IPv6, IPv4, ICMP, TLS, IPSec. C/C++ (or similar procedural programming languages).
Preferred skills:
Experience developing TCP/IP networking code, especially at the stack level.
Deep knowledge of the IPv6 protocol, including its header format, routing mechanisms and auto-configuration capabilities.
