CA Layer 7 Gateway Engineer

Work technically in co-ordination with the team and counter parts along with COE and Architects is expected.
Work closely with key users and project teams to gather requirements, create APIs, mapping, design specifications, data models, and data flow diagrams to meet business needs.
Responsible for prevention and early detection of defects through verification and validation activities ensuring the integrity and quality of all work.
Responsible for scope management, estimations, issue tracking and risk escalation.

Collaborate with Offshore and cross teams at onsite.
Lead the architecture and enabling technologies strategy for data enablement for the organization. Focus on API Management to enable the digital strategy.

Preferably have knowledge Java, Java/J2EE, Appdynamics, Splunk,SoapUI, Postman, Oracle SQL developer, Git.
Be able to distill business objectives into technical solutions through effective system design and architecture.
Strong understanding of UNIX operating systems and Shell Scripting.
Be able to work independently on a project-by project basis and also work in a collaborative and fast team environment.
Able to demonstrate the User Stories to the team.
Expert in the development of scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Framework, JSON, REST, XML, WSDL and micro-services.

Experience in CA Layer7 to develop, modify, configure, debug and evaluate application programs for functional business areas.
Previous experience on Logistics Domain would be a plus.
Experience in Onsite/Offshore Model.
Prior experience with the integration of CA Site Minder with the CA API Gateway is a plus.
Previous experience consuming or designing APIs for commercial applications.
Experience in SOA / ESB application integration.
Experience with Swagger Editor and YAML.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
