C++ Application Tester

Position Overview: We are seeking a C++ Application Tester with the ability to test and upgrade applications on RedHat Linux. The ideal candidate will have experience in writing and executing test cases for newly migrated applications on RedHat Linux and be proficient in Python and shell scripting.

Responsibilities:
Test C++ applications for upgrading on RedHat Linux.
Write and execute test cases for newly migrated applications on RedHat Linux.
Develop and maintain Python and shell scripts to support testing and automation processes.
Collaborate with the development team to understand application changes and ensure they are thoroughly tested.

Required Skills and Experience:
Experience in Python and shell scripting: Junior level (1-3 years)
Knowledge in Robot Framework: Junior level (1-3 years), preferred
Experience with Jira, Bitbucket, and CloudBees: Junior level (1-3 years)

Qualifications:
Ability to test C++ applications and ensure they meet quality standards.
Strong understanding of RedHat Linux environment.
Proficiency in writing test cases and executing them on Linux-based systems.
Experience in using testing frameworks and tools, with knowledge of Robot Framework being an asset.
Familiarity with project management and version control tools like Jira and Bitbucket.
Basic understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, with experience in CloudBees being an advantage.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with development and testing teams
