Business Intelligence Architect

PROJECT REQUIREMENTS
Code and Data Review:
1. Review and analyze the current data processes and code used to generate State
Performance Framework (SPF) reports.
2. Identify inefficiencies, inconsistencies, or errors in the code and data flow.
3. Collaborate with technical teams to assess and improve data extraction, transformation,
and loading (ETL) processes.
4. Provide recommendations for enhancing the codebase for optimal performance and
accuracy in report generation.

 

Business Process Mapping and Documentation:
1. Engage with program staff to understand and document the business and processes involved in generating state performance framework reports.
2. Document business rules associated with production of state performance framework reports.
3. Create process maps and workflows to illustrate current practices and identify areas for improvement.
4. Ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solutions by gathering and analyzing user needs.

 

Requirements Gathering and Documentation:
1. Lead sessions with program staff, subject matter experts, and technical teams to gather, clarify, and document business and technical requirements.
2. Translate business requirements into functional specifications for data and reporting systems.
3. Maintain comprehensive documentation for current and future state business processes, ensuring that all stakeholders have a clear understanding of the project scope and deliverables.

 

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
1. Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business units, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
2. Facilitate meetings with program staff and stakeholders to review requirements, share findings, and propose improvements.
3. Support ongoing communication efforts to ensure alignment of project goals with business objectives.
