We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Data Analyst with a strong background in the insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of experience and be proficient in SAS, SQL, and data quality management.
Key Responsibilities:
BRD creation and requirements gathering
Analyze and interpret complex data sets related to the insurance industry.
Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing robust data governance practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into data solutions.
Utilize SAS and SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to drive business growth and efficiency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
8-12 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the insurance domain.
Proficiency in SAS and SQL.
Strong understanding of data quality principles and best practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of actuarial science and insurance products.
Knowledge of Agile
Experience with data warehousing and data lake technologies
