Job Description:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Data Analyst with a strong background in the insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of experience and be proficient in SAS, SQL, and data quality management.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • BRD creation and requirements gathering
  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets related to the insurance industry.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing robust data governance practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into data solutions.
  • Utilize SAS and SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to drive business growth and efficiency.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 8-12 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the insurance domain.
  • Proficiency in SAS and SQL.
  • Strong understanding of data quality principles and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of actuarial science and insurance products.
  • Knowledge of Agile
  • Experience with data warehousing and data lake technologies
