Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements related to ACH payments, payment processing, and downstream integrations.
Translate business needs into technical requirements using tools like JIRA and Confluence.
Act as a liaison between business and technology teams, ensuring alignment and clarity of deliverables.
Analyze and document API interfaces, including request/response formats, authentication, and data mappings.
Work closely with development teams to validate implementation against business requirements.
Facilitate and run scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
Identify and escalate issues, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of features and fixes.
Support testing and validation activities as needed.
Required Skills & Experience:
8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst, preferably within financial services or banking.
Strong background in payments systems, specifically ACH integration and related business rules.
Proficient with JIRA for creating epics, stories, and managing sprint backlogs.
Solid understanding of API specifications, including RESTful APIs, JSON/XML structures, and API authentication methods.
Comfortable working directly with business users to elicit requirements and clarify processes.
Experience operating in Agile / Scrum environments, ideally as a Scrum Master or team lead.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in large financial institutions, particularly mortgage or treasury/payments departments.
Familiarity with Fedwire, Zelle, or other real-time payment systems is a plus.
Prior consulting experience or working in fast-paced, cross-functional delivery teams
