We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the banking and financial services industry, coupled with a deep understanding of Agile methodologies. This role is a unique blend of traditional business analysis and agile coaching, requiring a professional who can not only analyze business needs but also help establish and mature agile best practices within the organization.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, translating business requirements into clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze complex business processes and data flows within the banking sector (e.g., retail banking, wealth management, commercial lending).
• Facilitate workshops, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and other agile ceremonies.
• Act as a change agent, coaching teams and stakeholders on Agile principles and the Scrum framework.
• Help establish, monitor, and continuously improve agile best practices, including tools, processes, and metrics.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including process flows, requirements, and project artifacts.
• (Preferred) Assist with portfolio-level reporting, providing insights into project progress, resource allocation, and value delivery.
• (Preferred) Leverage past Scrum Master experience to support and guide one or more development teams.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Busness Analysti in the banking or financial services industry.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and a passion for promoting an agile mindset.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with project management and requirements management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
• A certification such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or an Agile certification is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
