Overview:
We’re looking for a Business Analyst with Salesforce Service Cloud expertise , focusing on investigating, documenting, and optimizing our Salesforce environment. This role emphasizes analysis, documentation, and system understanding rather than development.
Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Documentation & Analysis:
Investigate existing Salesforce configurations and processes.
Create comprehensive documentation, including flowcharts and visualizations (e.g., Lucidchart), to map how the environment works.
Interpret undocumented systems and processes.
System Understanding & Optimization:
Analyze flows, process builders, and email alerts to understand and refine system operations.
Assist with testing and validation, including writing and running test cases (UAT).
Data Querying & Scripting:
Use SOQL to query Salesforce data for analysis and insights.
Understand scripting concepts (Python/JavaScript) to interpret workflows but not required to develop.
Collaboration & Presentation:
Work closely with the team to gather and document requirements.
Present findings, charts, and high-level system overviews to stakeholders using tools like PowerPoint.
Requirements
Salesforce Expertise:
Admin-level experience with Salesforce Service Cloud (must).
Familiarity with flows, process builders, and email alerts.
Ability to make minor system changes (admin-level tasks).
Technical Skills:
Experience with RDBMS and querying Salesforce using SOQL.
Familiarity with documentation and visualization tools (e.g., Lucidchart).
Knowledge of scripting languages (Python/JavaScript) is a plus but not mandatory.
Business Analyst Skills:
Strong documentation, charting, and presentation abilities.
Capable of investigating and interpreting undocumented systems and processes.
Experience in gathering requirements and supporting systems changes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with PM or analytics tools.
Experience with user acceptance testing (UAT).
Located in PST or EST time zones (preferred).
Additional Information
This is an Individual Contributor (IC) role within a team of three, focusing on a specific Salesforce instance.
Main focus: Analyst work, documentation, and systems optimization (not webinars or event management).
