Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst (BA) with strong functional knowledge and experience in the Sales Compensation domain.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in analyzing, designing, and optimizing sales compensation plans, processes, and systems to drive business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to sales compensation programs.
- Work closely with stakeholders, including sales, finance, HR, and IT teams, to define and optimize sales compensation processes.
- Assist in the design and implementation of sales compensation plans, including incentives, commission structures, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with technical teams to support system configurations, enhancements, and troubleshooting in sales compensation platforms (e.g., Varicent, Xactly, Callidus, Anaplan).
- Perform data analysis and validation to ensure accurate and efficient calculation of commissions and incentives.
- Create detailed reports and dashboards to track performance, compliance, and effectiveness of compensation programs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices in sales compensation.
- Conduct training and support change management initiatives related to sales compensation plans and tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on sales compensation, commissions, or incentive compensation management.
- Strong experience of sales compensation models, incentive structures, and commission calculations.
- Hand on with any one sales compensation tools such as Varicent, Xactly, Callidus Cloud, or Anaplan.
- Strong data analysis skills using Excel, SQL, or reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to resolve complex business challenges.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce.
- Knowledge of sales performance management (SPM) best practices.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and business process modeling.
