Description

  • We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a key engagement with the State of Virginia. This hybrid role requires strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills, plus the ability to work cross-functionally with business and technical teams.

 

 

Must-Have Skills:

  • Agile/Scrum & Waterfall expertise (SAFe/Kanban also desirable
  • Stakeholder interviews, workshops & requirement gathering
  • Azure DevOps (TFS): user stories, backlogs, test plans
  • Proficiency in SQL, APIs, data flow diagrams
  • Excellent communication & documentation skills
  • Experience with Swim Lane/Flow Chart diagrams & Business Process Modelling
  • User Adoption & UAT experience
  • Previous State of VA IT project experience preferred

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years as an Agile Business Analyst
  • 5+ years with sprint planning, backlog grooming, writing user stories
  • 5+ years creating test strategies, test plans & test cases
  • 3+ years analyzing & documenting business/system processes
