Business Analyst

Role Description:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in the mortgage industry, preferably with experience working with Freddie Mac or Fannie Mae. The ideal candidate will effectively interface between business and technical teams, possessing a thorough understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
Key Responsibilities:
Mortgage Experience: Leverage extensive mortgage industry knowledge, particularly with Freddie or Fannie Mae.
Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
Process/Data Flow Design: Design process and data flow diagrams to visualize requirements.
Technical Spec Design: Create technical specifications for web services and APIs.
Business Analysis: Translate business requirements into technical requirements clearly and effectively.
Project Objectives: Define project objectives and conduct feasibility analysis.
Support Testing: Assist in development, systems integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT).
UAT Documentation: Create and document UAT strategies, plans, test cases, and scripts.
Testing Knowledge: Familiarity with both manual and automation testing practices.
User Stories: Write user stories that reflect business-driven functionality and technical capabilities.
Stakeholder Support: Provide constructive support to the Product Owner and IT team regarding product-related decisions.
Customer-Centric Mindset: Promote a customer-centric approach within the Modern Delivery team, aligning with Freddie Mac’s mission.
Collaboration: Partner with the Team Development Lead to create detailed project and process specifications.
Modern Delivery Practices: Understand and utilize Modern Delivery practices to enhance project outcomes.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in the mortgage industry, particularly with Freddie Mac or Fannie Mae.
Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).

Ability to write clear and concise user stories.
Familiarity with testing methodologies (manual and automated)
