Department Description:
This role is open in Finance Controllership organization, which ensure Trust in our financials, Close the books and Support external audit cycle. We work with Sales, Pricing, Legal, and Revenue Operations to structure customer contracts and manage revenue, as well as ensure timely and accurate Financial reporting and adhoc SEC filings.

Role Description:
Data Accessibility and Analytics contractor will support Data Enablement process to ensure multiple Datasets are configured to meet the needs of the end users and are aligned with the governance requirements. He/She is expected to be able to develop data models utilizing various data sources top deliver business insights to the controllership organization and leverage data to streamline current processes. He/She will be expected to understand data lineage to ensure that the business operations are getting the right data insights. The candidate must be comfortable working with a wide range of finance stakeholders and functional teams. The right candidate will have a passion for discovering solutions hidden in large data sets and working with stakeholders to improve business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop data models utilizing various data sources to deliver business insights to the controllership organization and leverage Workday data to streamline current processes
2. Defining Metrics, keeping track of performance against KPIs, benchmarking, as well as helping the business plan and prioritize based on expected result
3. Play a key role in the delivery of capabilities to maximize the trustworthiness and usage of data across Finance Controllership Organization, including lineage, metadata management and data quality.
4. Advise on Data Visualizations/Dashboards for Data Insights and Data Value. Work on setting up dashboards in tools such as Tableau, create datasets used for deep dive and answer adhoc questions from the business.

Skills:

* Experience building, deploying, and managing data pipelines and platforms as well as building analytic products that consume them in large complex data environments
* Experience creating and working with Data Architectures
* Experience with cloud-based technologies and modern data warehouses such as Snowflake
* Experience with data visualization platforms such as Tableau
* Deep knowledge of SQL, ETL scripts and creating BI reports, Data Warehousing data architecture and data modeling concepts
* Experience with ERP systems like Workday
* Understanding of Data Catalog and Data Lineage tools
* Experience with collecting data requirements, data modeling, and data profiling tools and techniques
* Strong Problem solving skills

Preferred Requirements:

* BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
* 5+ years experience in the Data Domain
* Experience managing Finance Domain architectures including ERP and boundary systems
* Ability to develop business cases and service requirements, while creating and managing strategic alliances.
* Ability to adapt to changing priorities while managing key project deliverables with quality
* Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
