Experience required

  • Higher education in computer science (University, HES, Swiss Federal Diploma, EPF) or other training deemed equivalent.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as a business analyst in the banking sector.
  • Excellent knowledge of banking, wealth management, as well as investments and financial products.
  • Solid understanding of portfolio performance measurements, including a thorough grasp of various metrics and methodologies used to assess investment returns, evaluate risk-adjusted performance, compare against relevant benchmarks, and analyze overall portfolio effectiveness.
  • Strong ability to organize and effectively conduct meetings and workshops, and to handle often complex topics with participants of diverse profiles.
  • Collaborative team player focused on achieving common objectives.
  • Knowledge and practice of Agile methodology (Scrum).
  • Very good knowledge of scripting/programming and strong proficiency in SQL query languages, as well as tools for database access.
  • Experience with APIs, including JSON, XML, Postman, and Swagger.
  • Should have worked on client reporting (nice to have). If the profile is good and the client reporting experience is very good, then can be considered also, even if the Private Assets experience is slightly weaker.

 

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the formulation of customer requirements, analyze them, and draft functional specifications.
  • Ensure the proper integration of solutions into Avaloq by conducting FAT/integration tests.
  • Support and coordinate the testing phases with end users (UAT).
  • Provide level 3 support in case of production incidents. This is with regards to understanding a defect functionally. No development experience required on this.
  • Participate in the review and analysis of existing architectures, identifying opportunities for improvement and proposing technical recommendations.
  • Ensure the reliability and availability of solutions in production (monitoring and resolving production incidents).
