Business Analyst

• Analyze, gather, and document business and functional requirements Preferred in the Cards and Payments domain.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define specs and ensure traceability.
• Perform complex data analysis across multiple systems to generate meaningful insights.
• Develop and maintain source-to-target data mappings and define transformation logic.
• Interpret investment performance, asset allocation, and attribution.
• Conduct workshops, stakeholder interviews, and manage requirement traceability.
• Support Agile practices, UAT, and create user stories and documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Strong domain knowledge on asset management: performance, attribution, asset allocation, holdings, and investment strategies.
• Ability to understand and analyze Investment Performance computations.
• Complex data analysis across multiple tables with strong data interpretation skills.
• Data mapping from source to destination with applied transformation logic.
• Ability to analyze and draw succinct conclusions to present findings.
• Proficient in SQL and Python.
• Knowledge of financial systems such as FactSet or Bloomberg (preferred).
• Experience gathering detailed, specific, and accurate business and functional requirements.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies, preferably Agile Scrum.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and planning abilities.

Skills Requirements

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the financial services domain.
• Proven ability to gather and document complex requirements from both business and technical teams.
• Strong SQL and Python skills for data validation and reporting.
• Experience with investment or asset management platforms and data analysis.
• Familiarity with Agile practices and tools like Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
