Requirement:

Business Analysis Skills

a. Requirement Gathering & Documentation – Conducting stakeholder meetings, writing Business Requirement Documents and Functional Specification Documents.

b. User Journey Mapping – Understanding customer needs and defining personas, user flows, and use cases.

c. Stakeholder Management – Engaging with cross-functional teams, including marketing, IT, customer service, and operations.

d. Gap Analysis & Impact Assessment – Identifying system deficiencies and recommending improvements.

e. Agile/Scrum Methodologies – Working in sprints, writing user stories, and collaborating with product owners to manage tasks, tracking progress, and documenting processes.

f. Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking – Identifying issues in booking flows, payment failures, or system integration challenges.

g. Communication & Presentation – Translating technical details into business language for stakeholders.

h. Collaboration & Leadership – Working with cross-functional teams, vendors, and IT developers.

Technical Skills

a. Mobile Platforms – Understanding differences between iOS, Android, and Cross-platform (React Native, Flutter, Xamarin) development.

b. Mobile Databases – Basic understanding of SQLite, Firebase, Realm, or cloud-based databases.

c. Mobile App Data Analysis & SQL – Familiarity with Google Analytics for Mobile, Firebase Analytics, Basic understanding of SQL queries to analyze user data

d. API & Web Services – Understanding RESTful APIs, SOAP, and how they interact with third-party systems

e. KPI Definition & Tracking – Measuring mobile app performance through DAU, MAU, retention rate, conversion rate.

f. Mobile App Testing Techniques – Knowledge of manual and automated testing frameworks (Appium, Selenium, Espresso).

g. Cross-Platform Testing – Understanding how apps behave across different devices, OS versions, and screen sizes.

Domain Knowledge (Airline Industry & eCommerce)

a. Airline Platforms – Familiarity with airline booking engines, ticketing systems, and digital sales channels.

b. Ancillary Revenue Strategies – Experience with cross-selling, upselling, and bundling services.

Added advantage:

* Knowledge of airline Passenger Service Systems (PSS),

* Understanding of airline frequent flyer programs and their integration with eCommerce.

* Awareness of NDC (New Distribution Capability), One Order, and airline-specific compliance requirements.

Technical skills required:

IT Business Analyst with a mix of technical, business, and airline domain-specific skills to analyze, optimize, and implement eCommerce solutions effectively
