Key Specifications of the role :
- Strong understanding of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) concepts, lifecycle, and implementation frameworks, including process identification, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Hands-on exposure or working knowledge of RPA tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism—able to collaborate effectively with developers and understand technical limitations or capabilities.
- Ability to analyze business processes and evaluate RPA feasibility, including identifying automation blockers, standardization requirements, and process optimization opportunities.
- Experience in creating and maintaining RPA documentation, including Process Design Documents (PDD), Solution Design Documents (SDD), and test scenarios for UAT.
- Familiarity with RPA governance models, exception handling mechanisms, and control room/dashboard monitoring to ensure smooth and compliant automation execution.
- Preparation of BRD(Business Requirement Document)
Work with stakeholders to identify and document business needs and requirements.
Develop and maintain business requirements documents
Conduct research and analyse data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities.
- Preparation of FRD(Functional Requirement Document)
Produce clear definition of project scope and objectives
Producing FRD as basis for design and development
Recommend solutions to improve business processes, systems, and products.
Work with developers to ensure that solutions meet business requirements.
- Preparation of visual representation of “As is” and “To be” process
Understand the current state of the process
Identify processes and activities
Capture inputs and outputs
Document roles and responsibilities
Use standard notation or symbols
Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and SMEs
Collaborate with stakeholders to define the scope of UAT
Work closely with end users, SMEs and other stakeholders to define test scenarios and create detailed test cases
Provide support to stakeholders during UAT
Participate in UAT sessions to understand the rationale behind proposed changes
