Business Analyst - Azure

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Collect, analyze, and document all business and functional requirements for the Data Lake infrastructure.
• Support advancements in business analytics to ensure the system aligns with evolving business needs.
• Profile new and existing data sources to define and refine the data warehouse model.
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to define data workflows and strategies.
• Drive process improvements to optimize data handling, performance, and efficiency.
• Perform deep data analysis to validate accuracy, consistency, and overall data quality.
• Partner with QA teams to support test planning and ensure data quality within the Data Lake and Data Warehouse.
• Gather data governance requirements and ensure the implementation of governance practices within the Data Lake infrastructure.
• Collaborate with business users to gather and define metadata specifications for the Data Lake.
• Provide insights and documentation that support data integration, security, and visualization.
• Ensure compliance with CI/CD practices and contribute to delivery pipelines for data-related initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align technical capabilities with business objectives.

Experience Requirement:

• 7+ years of experience in business analysis, data management, and working with cloud platforms, especially Azure.
• Strong experience in Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Power BI for implementing data integration solutions and reporting tools.
• Hands-on experience with Data Lake architecture, and expertise in handling data warehouses, including profiling, refining, and optimizing data models.
• Proven track record in driving process improvements to optimize data handling and ensuring the efficient performance of data platforms.
• Extensive knowledge of SQL and KQL, with experience in data querying, validation, and analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to define and execute data governance strategies and ensure compliance across data systems.
• Experience in collaborating with architects, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to define workflows and implement scalable data solutions.
• Experience with Oracle EBS and integration with cloud-based data tools, specifically in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Expertise in managing data integration projects, from requirement gathering through to UAT support and production migration.
• In-depth understanding of data security protocols within Azure environments and ability to ensure robust protection for sensitive data.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make complex data decisions based on business insights and requirements.
• Previous experience with CI/CD pipelines to automate data processes and ensure seamless deployment of updates.
